BEAR DOWN!

i am soo excited. the bears beat the vikings and it was exciting. i loved watching that game so much. I just felt like i could be happy as a fan of the bears again. finally in the second-to-last game of the season they start playing like a real football team. I'm asking myself, Where have these guys been all year? to me this season with the bears has been so disappointing. They went into the season with a supposidly good quarterback and a running back who was supposed to be good also. They also went in with a good defense. None of these expectations were true. The bears had to battle many injuries and most importantly one to MLB and defense star Brian Urlacher. hunter Hillenmeyer has stepped up into big shoes, though and shown that he can be a very good defender.
now onto the actual game. The bears played with an outstanding offense, even though the run game was stopped a little. The bears also for the most part stopped adrian peterson. All these were the keys to winning this game. The vikings defense was not very good and could not stop chicago, and in the first half the whole team didnt really have any life at all.
I will give the vikings credit, though because they mostly showed up the bears in the second half, but the bears managed to keep it tied until the end of regulation. Then it was overtime, and the bears won the toss. They drove down the field and had to settle for a 48 yard field goal. This is a kick that Robbie Gould would almost never miss. HE MISSED IT!! i couldnt believe it. I said to myself that the game was over, because Favre had been so dominant in the previous half that i thought they would march right down the field and score. the bears defense actually stopped FAVRE. wow... so the bears get it and screw themselves and the vikings have it again.
this is my favorite part and one of the reasons that i brought up Hunter Hillenmeyer before. He made an outstanding play running down adrian peterson and stripping the ball. I WAS SOO HAPPY!! then BAM like that cutler throws to the end zone and a touchdown and the game is over. no need to put pressure on Robbie Gould. just score

i am so proud of the bears for winning this game and really just putting the vikings in their place.
this shows that any week any team can win. (theres still hope for the rams then) (i think)
